Creative Outdoor Seating Area

A transformation from a trampoline hole to an outdoor seating area. The idea to create ‘The Pit’ came from wanting an outdoor space where our teenage children and we could sit with friends and family. The seating was created using scaffolding planks, and pea gravel was added to the floor. My son inspired and designed the steps, as they needed to be as narrow as possible to leave more room in the circle. With the addition of a table, heater, umbrella, festoon lighting, pizza oven and lots of cushions, we have made a fabulous place to be all summer long.
